I kept hearing this book discussed in my home group. I decided to give it a read. I really liked it and found it really helpful. It is a momoir of a bipolor alcoholic woman who eventually finds peace through AA. I found it pretty inspiring.

I wont say much about this, but I am more than willing to believe a person with bipolar or schizophrenia could be helped by this program (Im actually sure of it), I sorta believe the mental illnesses are connected to addictions, as the offices are also listed as "mental health and addictions" Sometimes people suffer for years with an"Illness"  (which I dont doubt enitrley exists)  but once theyve sorted out the alcoholism or whatever, someone is a regular member of society...   Which can be touchy I must say....
