Our Alanon family groups organised their annual food fair. We got to sample some of the best food from different countries. My wife and I had a great time with plenty of laughter and fellowship. It's great to see families of alcoholics simply having fun again.
We can have fun and laughter again. It is possible through recovery in AA. The great thing about alcoholics is that we can laugh and we can cry. "We do not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it."
As one member put it: "...we are just men and women who simply want to breathe again."
