Wow...I'm sorry to hear about that Angell, I hope her recovery goes well. I'm grateful for many things Angell, especially this weekend -being Memorial Day and all. I wouldn't enjoy certain freedoms today if it wasn't for the brave men and women of our armed services, and for that I'm grateful. I'm grateful to be alive and sober, and for the opportunity to be of service to God and A.A. I'm grateful for gift of friendship, especially my extended family. They stood by me through thick and thin even when others would not. Then there's my immediate family, especially my mother; if it wasn't for their ongoing support, who knows where I'd be. I'm grateful for my sober network including "MIP"; I'm more connected than ever before and avenues like this one have allowed that to flourish, so thank you. Basically, I'm grateful for any moment sober -especially today, so kudos to my sober family everywhere. You've enriched my life with so many virtues that I'm still in awe even today. So for that and everything else...I'm eternally grateful. May God bless each and every one of you from this point on, and forever more.

My wife was in an auto accident last night in which the car was totalled. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance with back injuries. However, it appears that she is going to be okay and make a full recovery.
i am grateful that i don't have to take a drink today and that your wife will be ok. it rained yesterday, so this morning i went out to the garden and saw all the baby plants were standing up and healthy. so much to be grateful for, especially when i was drinking all i was interested in was my next drink. hugs, jj/sheila
Greatful your wife is/will be ok. And mike and I set boundaries and have plans on how to prevent an episode like this happening again. Grateful I have off this weekend, and Monday. (rare occasion to have off work weekends)
