Hey Flipper, ...

Been there , Done that!!! ... Didn't really care for the trip! ... (it's the ones you find "half" empty, or even 'full', that'll give you pause for thought!!! ...)

Shaking my damn head........... As part of becoming sober one goal I have is to become more organized. So going through some boxes last of some ''stuff'' and guess what I find...........bottles that I forgot I had hid, and yes there were all empty. Just another sign that I am on the right path and making the right decisions.

I have found some too, and expect I may find more. Pretty sad.

As part of being sober, my goal was to be sober. 90 meetings in 90 days. Finding those bottles is something that should motivate you harder to go to meetings and to work with your sponsor. Alcohol really has a powerful grip. I promise you that getting organized and working on other issues and your life will all happen as a result of the program. But, first things first - AA and building up a program is #1.

You may be doing that already. I really hope so.

I'm with you on this one flipper. I could always find the empty ones but never the full ones, go figure. Here's the kicker though; I lived alone, so why hide them to begin with. Can you say freak...Maybe I was afraid of the alcohol gremlin or something -he liked to steal my bottles by the way, or maybe I was just delusional or worse. Who knows, I guess it's just another scratch your head moment for me, that's all. I'm glad those days are long gone, same as you. Besides, I enjoy sobriety so much more, thank you.

X2-  Once you clear up Spiritually, you'll clear up physically and mentally.  That's my experience.  I've never been more internally and externally organized as I am today.  My daugther tells me I'm OCD........  She might be right.  biggrin
