Quick question...

...what is the difference between a dry drunk and a dry alcoholic? It was brought up in the meeting I went to last night and kind of got me confused. Is it related to a problem drinker, or just a drunk?

I've gathered that it's all about attitude and how they react without alcohol, but is there any specifics someone could explain to me? Thanks

Nick

A "dry alcoholic" is a drunk who no longer drinks. No recovery. A "dry drunk" is an emotional bender, like a fit of anger, where one would act as if they had been drinking, so to speak.

Yeah, a dry drunk didn't get no 'Altered Attitude'.
