I know that I sometimes come across as flippant and not very serious about my drinking issues or my desire to recover. Some of you have expressed your annoyance with my attitude and ripped me a new one on occasion (even though your alchy bible says that's a no-no). The truth is that I do take my drinking and the misery it causes very seriously and I want desperately to be free from the shackles of my dependence on alcohol. I also take the guidance and advice I receive here very seriously and it means a lot to me. Even though we've never met I feel like you care about me.
So, now I will do as I'm told. I will do 90 meetings in 90 days. I will shut up and listen. I will meditate and do my best to connect with whatever positive forces are out there in the hope that I can find some peace.
I feel pretty good today...Id like to hang onto this feeling for a while.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

GOOD FOR YOU :} Time to put some action into it :} You feel pretty good today and I am sure you will for a very long time. All I know is the more I put into it the more I get from AA.
I hope you make plenty of friends that you can relate to. If you off you hand of friendship and ask for help. They all will be happy to help you continue. :}

Tip a more beautiful image would be reading a suggestion post from you to a new comer...telling them what it was like, what you learned and what how it is for you now. As the Chip says...you got too much AA in your to stay home. It's true.
Memorize these early suggestions to a newcomer to the program...
Sit down...all the way down; don't talk cause you don't know what we know about recovery yet; listen and don't let anything or one disturb what you must hear to support a sober day; practice, practice, practice what you learn...that's the "do", the "walk" of this program of recovery. Don't Think and don't drink in between those first 90 meetings in 90 days. Let yourself be carried by the fellowship.
This is only a 24 hr at a time program tipsy...none of us have been issued a crystal ball and we don't get lessons in fortune telling.
We'll hang with you.

24 hours down,well done. Have you been to a meeting to collect a 24hour chip. Its a must do.. I keep mine with my cash as a reminder that today I will not be needing, or wanting to buy another bottle :} For another 24 hours I want to remain sober. I pick my chip up often and rub it between my hands and say a gratitude prayer. This might help you or others too.
I love reading your progree and your posting, And the one with regard to you little daughter :}
AA hepls us wake up and grow up to be more responsiblr not only for ourselves but also for others.
I pray you have many many happy sober years with your family. And that you find faith ,that like us all we were unable to do this alone,we needed the power of each other,and the guidance of a higher power that gave us the rooms of AA today. :}
How many meeting do you get to a week ? It get inot our hearts and we love to go to them. Today I understand that I must keep coming back :]
