Hi. Been away. Now I'm back. Actually I been on the Al-Anon board for a while. I'm a double agent don't ya know. Anyway, for those of you who know me I sometimes have stuff in the AA Grapevine. Not bragging just saying. Writing is something I like to do. carrying the message is also something I like to do. Sometimes I combine the two. So, I was in a meeting last December and this guy says hey I really liked your story in the Grapevine last month. I say you sure it was last month. I haven't had anything in there since 2010. He was pretty sure it was one of mine.

I had a copy of that issue in my backpack. It had been there for over a week and I was going to read it really I was. So I pulled it out of my backpack and started reading. On page 24 there was a nice little article on Step Eleven and gee willikers wasn't my name at the end of it. I had written it in 2004 and I remember they said they liked it but they didn't have a use for it but they would keep it on file. In 2006 I moved and never did a formal change of address so I guess someone else got the complimentary copy. Hope it helped.

I just thought it was funny that I had the thing in my backpack all that time and never knew it. Now you know I'll be going over all the others with a fine tooth comb.
