After reaching my bottom I got on my knees and asked God for guidance. The anxiety was so overwhelming. He led me to a meditation sound site on my Ipad which has changed my life. Today I am grateful to be sober and finally able to relax without the demon of alcohol.
Thank you Mr David. It' s nice to get a response from you. 6 days sober today. I woke up and thank God for another day of sobriety yesterday and prayed for guidance thru another day.
Having a good day today. No urge to drink today. My higher power must be working overtime. I feel so serene but will not let my guard down not for one second.

No. I am planning one for Saturday evening. Right now I am working nights and trying to get my sleep pattern down without alcohol. Been having a hard time with that. Was going to go to one this morning at 9:30 a.m. But woke up groggy from anxiety, detox meds I'm on and was afraid to drive.
