Well we had a meeting with the 4 brothers and step dad. My mom is going down hill fast. They have been married 40 years and now she has dementia. She has been in a nursing home for about 2 -3 months and things are worse. She wont eat or swallow any thing now so a decision had to be made. All intervention will stop and she will slowly pass away. When my 5 month old granddaughter passed I had a problem with that but this I don't. My mom knows no one and its time to let her meet god. I hope it comes sooner than later and it is a time to visit until its done

Sorry to hear that Chester. I'm not looking forward to having to deal with that.

Condolences chester - it's still a lot of emotions to handle in early sobriety (early once again for you). I hope you have a sponsor to rely on during this.

I am sorry! My dad is suffering from Parkinson's and I am a State tested nursing assistant and deal with home health care. Just love her and give her what she needs to be comfortable. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
