Im at the point in my recovery where Im starting to see something and at least for me it is seeming like the key to a lost world. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. there are people who care and sometimes its the hardest thing to see in the world. Sometimes we are very hurt and very sick and we feel all alone. Sometimes we feel this way even when theres lots of good people around and you absolutely must see that there are good people in the world and there are people who care. If you can understand this you can open yourself to a healthy happy place which can be very hard. I am doing it right now. It can take you out of a broken down state which is very dangerous
it is sometimes almost impossible to see but there are far more wonderful people in the world than the negative ones. You are surrounded by them. Us alcoholics tend to be down in a place where we cant see this and while we are there god is working in our lives, we can see that god cares as well while we are recovering and in a dark place. The key I am finding is understanding there are good people all around you, perhaps you are hurt by someone in particular, perhaps they are a good person too, if you would but could see it. I am currently seeing this for the first time in years and it is like a doorway to a warmer place....
Go easy on yourself and Take care,
Closer

You're right, my friend. It's only through the looking glass that we finally see the world for what it truly is. There are people who care and there are those who don't, it's that simple. So connect with those who do and enjoy their company for all it's worth.
Well said closer! I can promise you this, if you keep coming back, it will continue to get even better. It's fantastic to see your growth and renewed faith.
