Been away for work for a long old while, only slept in my own bed maybe 5 times this month. However..........

I've been to some great meetings, seen some stunning landscapes, met some great people within and outwith the fellowship, done things I thought I'd never be able to do and am at peace with myself. Can it get any better?

Tomorrow it'll be 12 years since my Dad died...he never got to see me sober but then again, he never got to see me at my lowest. The first 7 years it was a great excuse to get drunk and I took that excuse. The last 5 years have been a time where I've been able to be supportive of my Mum...........I know which I prefer......

My buddy Rico is out of hospital and recuperating at home........I'll see him on Thursday next week and see how he's doing, is it too early to hope that the treatment worked?

Hey, it's been good for me to have a wee share of what's been going on (in general terms.)

TG - the property had to go to auction - with insider knowledge I knew it was a waste of time for me to bid it went for 4 times what it was worth to me. So that one wasn't meant to be. As for the move, it keeps getting pushed back - still waiting to complete the divorce, still waiting to see where my work headquarters might be. Interview in two weeks!

Always good to hear from you Bill. It is awesome that one thing that is a constant despite anything you are going through in life is that you always bring recovery to everything you do and everywhere you go.
