The four emotional enemies that I have battled are resentment, guilt, anger, regret and fear.  These emotions are triggers which have not only initiated drinking binge but are encountered during drinking binge.  It is a continual event releasing will to the Lord.

Yeah...I hear you strawberry. Navigating your way through life's seemingly unending problems isn't easy, but necessary. It's through challenges like these that we find strength. When we search for solutions instead of temporary fixes, we discover a design for living beyond the limits of alcoholic reasoning. These alternatives can keep us on an even keel, especially when confronted with certain mind altering dilemmas. And the same goes for our emotions as well. Finding some clarity in times like these may seem difficult, but God will surely see us through. Thanks, again, for reminding of that.

~God bless~

Hi strawberry,

You are so right these are the things that will kill us. Like you said, turn them over to God, 3d step get into God's will for us.

He can take these defects unless we let go......

Take care,
