Been battling walking pneumonia and bronchitis since New Years, but God is good. Been starting to feel the "healing Power in last couple days and sure is a reminder that we may have a lot of things going on but how important OUR HEALTH IS. Man I can think back to that 120 pound functioning skeleton, while caught in the grip for 25 years and truly know it was God's grace and mercy that carried me through not only the physical but mental and spiritual illnesses of our disease. If it is God's will, the healing will continue ,I will regain my strength and work my physical, mental and spiritual program even a little more stringently. If you are new here, just coming around or just coming back,WELCOME! WE have a program ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS and a fellowship that helps us to come to the admission and surrender that we are powerless over our illness ,definitely unmanageable and WE have a solution (the steps)to work on the rest of the disease, the mental, and spirtual devastation that the healing begins with putting down the substance...Pray all are well and working in the solution, stay blessed and continue working ,day at a time, guided by that Power greater than you.We will suffer and our health will fail, even our mental facilties may turn into jumble but our spirit can always remain in touch with that loving and caring Power..Keep getting closer..........GRAND FUNK RAILROAD as Mark Farner sang...............IM GETTING CLOSER TO MY HOME!!! comforting for this recovered, recovering a day at a time, alcoholic!! Have a blessed and productive day!!

Even when you are under the weather you share such amazing energy here with us all. Thanks for that and feel better soon. :)

I think there's an invisible principle of living...if we believe we're guided through every step of our lives, we are. Its a lovely sight, watching it work.
sorry to hear you're unwell, and I hope you will get better soon. You are a great example of the programme at work, even in adversity you are thinking of others. I have known a few people with such grace, a quality to which I aspire but still fall well short of.
I am glad you are on the uphill side of the battle Mike. I hate to say it, but sometimes its educational to get sick, because when you are on the mend, you rejoice every day you feel better. Thanks for the reminder (without me actually having to get sick). Get well soon. Tom
