We hear a lot about the "Keys of Sobriety" Can anyone give me a comprehensive list of what they are?

I know there are a few places in the 12&12 where some are listed

pg 34 Willingness

pg 153 Humility

I know there are more but I would like to know what they are and where they are listed.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me!

Welcome to the board Mko . Excuse my ignorance but I can't recall the phrase "keys of sobriety". I do recall however that honesty, open mindedness and willingness are the three indispensible requirements to begin recovery from alcoholism in the AA programme. In my experience, humility is usually in short supply at the start.

God bless,
Mike H.

Almost missed the obvious! By definition the keys  to sobriety are the 12 steps, very simple, no hidden secrets.
God bless,
Mike H.

Hi Dean, Happy new year and thanks for the welcome. Cruise is still going on, I am just home for a few days to attend to some business. It's been a fabulous  time though, real "joys of sobriety" stuff. One of the highlights was reading a book recommended by Python Pappy - The Shack, both moving and informative, in fact it seems to have had quite a profound effect on me. I will write some more on my experiences soon.

God bless, Mike H.

I was thinking on the same line as you, Mike. The Keys of Sobriety being the Steps or the Principles
1. Acceptance
2. Faith
3. Surrender & Trust
4. Honesty
5. Courage
6. Willingness
7. Humility
8. Forgiveness
9. Freedom
10. Perseverace
11. Patience
12. Charity, Love, Service
Thanks for the link, SoberSteve
I also used a link to look up in the 12 & 12 Tthat is where I found the ones I listed above http://www.164andmore.com/about.php
