So me and the new Mrs. SoberSteve went to Seaside (the beach) this weekend for our little honeymoon.  WOW so much alcohol there.  It started right away when we checked in the clerk gave me 2 complimentary certificates for free red wine.  I showed my wife she ripped them up.  We went to breakfast the next day, ordered and the waitress said "would you like anything to drink? beer, wine, theres a full bar?"...  We had soda...  then doing a little shopping it seemed every store had reference to alcohol or were selling it.  So what did we do?  Got online found a great meeting 3 blocks away and stayed sober :)  So glad Ill have a nice honeymoon to remember instead of getting drunk, probably fighting, not remembering it etc etc etc... Thank God for sobriety!

Great Steve,
Keep the focus on your lovely bride and special time! Ignore the demon trying to make it fall apart. Thanks for checking in and enjoy.

Alcohol is everywhere. The longer that you're sober, the less that you'll notice it.

Woo Hoo!  Golly, Holy Mollie!  An alcoholic having a sober honeymoon!  Without a doubt, the miracle has grabbed ya!

It's beats waking up on your honeymoon, with a pair of thongs over your head, and having your new wife tell you, they arn't hers!  LOL

Keep it up Steve... man, you are doing sooo, good, keep your focus and you will live a life beyond anything you could ever imagine... this is just another, one of many miracles that lay in wait for you and yours.

John
