So many become discouraged because things are not going our way. But I found that God has a plan for me, which my limited mind cannot see. If I just submit and allow Him to do the work that has been planned for me, then when I look back I find that it was the best. Many things that I wanted, if I had got them would have messed up my life. It's only in practicing the 12 steps and waiting patiently for God's will to be done in my life, that I have been successful up to now.
My defect of projecting is still there, but I use the suggestions on pg 86 of the AA book.
Amen, and someone once told me, "If God gave you everything you ever wanted at this very moment, could you handle it? What would you do with it all. Better just be patient." Its not always easy, but your correct my friend.
