Good morning all. Today is my AA birthday I am 23 years sober today. I would like to thank everyone on this board and every meeting I have ever attended. If I would have written down 23 years ago what I thought my life would be like now I would have missed it by a mile. I don't know how many 24 hour periods there are in 23 years and it doesn't matter because today is the most important day of my life. I live every day like it's my last because very well it could be. If today was to be the last day of my life I could die a happy man because I've gotten a second shot of life and not many people get that, so I make the most out of every day God gives me. I don't know if God brought me to AA or if AA brought me to God. It's kinda like the chicken or the egg thing, I have eggs for breakfast and fried chicken for supper. It's the same way in recovery I have God and I have AA so I don't care which came first. Thank you all again for all the good work you do.

I think there's an invisible principle of living...if we believe we're guided through every step of our lives, we are. Its a lovely sight, watching it work.
Happy Sober Day, Bob and I am bumping this to wish you a very happy bellybutton birthday today too. I thought it would also be a nice way of letting our newcomers meet and greet you. You have been with us at Miracles in Progress for some time now. God bless you, brother. Sending lots of love and hugs from Berlin where I am momentarily ;) Danielle x
