i ride a motorcycle

i paint for a living

i play guitar

i work on web sites

have 5 lil dogs that need lots of petting....

today i fell 20 ft on a ladder and fractured both of my wrist  badly and an elbow!

i'm now in partical cast and a sling

pecking one damn keyboard key at a time 

i have had better and worse days... and stayed sober so this is just another opportunity to diminstrate the power of AA and God.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune John. My eyes are watering just thinking about it. On the odd occasion that I haven't been able to work, I have taken the opportunity to go on a wee AA binge - catch up with folks I haven't seen in a while.

gee, lately I've kinda been focusing on.... "Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God's world by mistake." Hard to believe sometimes!!

I'm sorry for the great inconvenience it must be to break both wrists. I'll be sending prayers, love and light for your healing.

Mebbe now you'll slow down! Get well soon, wrists don't take too long, but do need exercise once they're mended (speaking from experience)

Heal up John...Bummer is an apt reaction...just got off an email to a client saying I won't be on her roof till the rain weather clears and gets warm...I'm also a ladder guy and the visions of it keep me safe.   I'll use your experience as a sponsoring asset if you don't mind.    Oh Ouch!!   (((hugs))) smile

I hope you are not in too much pain.  When I am distressed I think of what my sponsor says, There is nothing my HP asks of me that I can not handle.  In your case it sounds like you will have to back off from regular activities and not do, which can be harder than doing.  Much sympathy.
