Got to see my daughter get married....how incredible it was...a beautiful small ceramony on the beach on the Outer Banks. This is the best gift of sobriety I could ever have. People who know my story knoow the hell I went through and the hell she went through--that either of us are alive is a blessing by the grace of god and attributed totally to the Steps and process of recovery.

That's marvelous Lee!

I am so glad the day went well. When I got sober I did not have much idea about family an' stuff, but now it's one of the greatest miracles of sobriety. To be welcome and to participate in such special occasions is such an incredible privilage, and brings such joy to my life. It's what sobriety is all about.

Loved the picture of the happy couple, and by the sea too! My favourite place.

God bless,

Mike H.

Yes ,Lee the miracles keep coming huh...I can feel the happiness and gratitude in your heart and see the joy in your daughters face.God continually shine on you and keep you entered in His grace and mercy..I know for me when I sometimes look back at my almost 64 years(52 of them in addiction or recovery) I go 'UNBELIEVABLE" but truly grateful..These are the culminations of the gift of grace, recovery and work.Hey before you know it,you may be giving back to a little rugrat, just like we are doing now,,,,life in its innocence, truly the face of God...peace and blessing my friend.. your beautiful little baby all growed up!!!!hug her one for me..............smile

Wow, what a happy time for you.  I am continually amazed at what life has in store if I am willing to work at recovery.  Congratulations.
