Ask God in, release the wreakage of your past, the anxiety of admitting things long avoided will be attended by your Higher Power AND A LOVING SPONSOR...... FEEL THE FREEDOM!!  I TRULY AM EXCITED FOR YOU. Focusing  your attention on The patterns of whats behind the reasons you acted and did the things you did, the 'exact nature" happens very often as we share our inventories! Sometimes the repetition of the same type of situation will reveal the nature of that situation. The admission we make here is based on honesty,  like our 1st step admission but even to a deeper level.CANT WAIT TILL YOU COME"FLYING IN" ,NEXT TIME WE SEE YA!!!!  PEACE!!smile

Congrats on moving forward with the steps.

I assume you are reviewing the actions to take and lists to make with him, cause usually the step involves you spending time alone to evaluate your feelings, defects and past.

The same goes for me Mike. The 4th step can feel so liberating when done correctly, so don't hold back anything. The 4th step was for me a sobering look back at my former life and how alcohol played a pivotal role in it all. I hope you can finally get rid of those past mistakes and find refuge under the umbrella of divine love for many years to come.

~God bless~

Hi Sam

wonderful news that you are on your way with the action part of the program. Great insight can be gained from the 4th step, getting a real idea what the trouble is. For me the freedom came after the 5th, which I did the day after my 4th. That was the first time I slept soundly, that was the time I knew in my heart that this programme would work, that what was written in the Big Book was exactly true for me, and that was when I really began to feel the presence of God. That was when I lost my lonliness and realised that I am just an ordinary alcoholic, but on an extraordinary journey. 4 for knowledge, 5 for FREEDOM!

God bless,
Mike.
