AA for me.

One of the most blessed things in my life, is that every single day of my life, my most cherished thought is AA. My mind is either thinking about which meeting I am going to attend or some newcomer that I am sponsoring. I thank God for instilling this in me. It's never dulled in the past 23 years. It fascinates me because I could never sustain anything longterm in my life. I always started of with a bang and then just fizzled out. This proves that the AA steps do work, and fundamental character changes are not only possible, but definitely do happen if we are willing to work. It's got nothing to do with circumstances in our life but it's got to do with how much we are willing. I believe it is science at it's very best, call it metaphysical science if we want, but it works.
