For all that was done....

Went to a thanksgiving 12 years contented sobriety, with no more need for meetings. Is it possible? The BB pg 89, says:"...nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics. It works when other activities fail."

Top of Form

I personally do not want to find out after I have started drinking again. The BB also goes on to say:"Frequent contact with newcomers and with each other is the bright spot of our lives." Every single day this has been the passion of my life. I thank God for it, because it is Him who has put that passion in my heart.

If the founding fathers of AA only focused on sobriety, I might not have made it. If we go through the history of AA we will see how much of a personal sacrifice was made in order for the fellowship & program to reach the world.

The very least I can do today is to carry this message to the still suffering alcoholic.
