Spent yesterday with approx. 300 individuals working recovery at one level or another, putting down the substance,applying spiritual principles to the "ism's of our disease and reaching one another in a loving and caring manner.GOD was definitely in the house.The message was constantly hope and the promise of freedom by putting down the substance, continuing show up,do the work(steps/traditions/concepts),reach out to others and most importantly reach toward being of maximum servuce to your ultimate Higher Power>Across the Universe from "coming to" in a garage covered by some nasty canvas to keep from freezing to hugging my neighbor and identifying with devastation and pain that we once shared and now the love and hope we share .Man ,as Maynard G. Krebbs used to say 'it got me all misty!!! If you are new or just coming around,stay ,learn a new way to live happy joyous and free,even in the most trying situations!!! IF GOD IS FOR US,WHO CAN BE AGAINST US! Have a blessed and productive day!
