The AA book says that Selfishness, selfcentredness is the root of our problems. Many of us think that this is a new concept. The Bible talks about dying to ourselves. The old man must die so that we can be born again. This is not a once for all thing. Got to carry my cross daily.Top of Form

It means death to my anger; death to self pity & fear. Most of all death to my pride- that big "I" called Gonee. The 12 steps are designed to remove & destroy these sins. We will be tested today, not at the meetings, but at home, on the road, at the supermarket, on the phone etc. Are we ready for the test? We'll see at the end of the day-10th step.
