I don't know what is wrong with me. I'm having trouble sustaining interest in anything. One day I'm all excited about something and the next day I have no interest in it or I can just keep my interest in something only for a short period of time. Is this common in recovery or is there something wrong with me? Has anyone else experienced this?
For me I check out the physical and mental and emotional levels...do a through spiritual level check and then do the next appropriate thing. Some other days things are just peachy. If I need help I ask for it just like you're doing now. Go make that check list, inventory list and see what might be out of kilter. Some alcoholics report that when they stop drinking it is a while before they fill the hole that remains.
Are you relatively new to sobriety? Try Googling Post-Acute Withdrawl Syndrome symptoms and see if that resonates.

I agree...You can also see a doctor who specializes with addiction disorders if things don't improve. I hope everything pans out, as you continue to enjoy the fruits of this wonderful sober life -one day at a time.
~God bless~

Yep I was up and down, in and out..... But after some good sobriety it settled down. Was very hard to focus. I use to love to read but when I became sober I had a very hard time focusing long enough to enjoy a book. It takes time
