Staying Centered

As my wife and I continue to pray and plan for our future(but not at the wasted expense of today)we feel comforted that we can be secure enough to venture farther afield than we thought, to be receptive with all of God's children, to consider the ideas that definitely challenge us and to reach out to love those who may return our love with disdain .We know as long as our center is the God of our understanding, that our direction will not be lacking because we will always know our way home. Our prayer humbles us as being needy and exalts our God as oh so wealthy....Fear definitely takes flight ,when faith stands firm...We came to believe ,a process of continuing growth leading us on the journey ,a day at a time...Be blessed today and pay it forward to the best of your ability!!!If your new here or just coming around, welcome,if you have been around for a few cups of coffee ,welcome...WE can all venture farther than we thought possible when we know our centersmilesmile

Thank you, Mike for such profound sharing. I feel blessed & strengthened in my faith. God has opened so many doors for me & my wife as we journey through our recovery. We have been blessed beyond measure.
God bless you.

"We know as long as our center is the God of our understanding, that our direction will not be lacking because we will always know our way home."

Nice.

I recently had the gift of unexpectedly getting to hear the choir rehearsal for last Sunday's service at the National Cathedral in Washington DC. I must share that I had a lot of prayer-fullness and gratitude, and thoughts of my brothers & sisters in recovery. I left feeling incredibly "centered" in the higher power.
