Thanks so much. It was a great birthday. I have much more abundance and gratitude each year that passes now.
Incidentally, I did go out to a club this year last night for my birthday. It was the first time, I'd been in a bar for my birthday in sobriety after being in a bar for my birthday every birthday for like 20 years prior...Anyhow, people kept trying to buy me shots and drinks and I had to explain multiple times that I didn't drink. I forgot that is what people try and do for you on your birthday in a club or bar. Shrug. It was weird but no big deal. I go to this place to see friends and cuz it's a gay country line dancing bar and my boyfriend likes to line dance and it's fun to 2 step too. I forget it's actually a bar most of the time. There have only been about 4 or 5 times in sobriety when people were actually urging me to drink. Once you tell folks you are an alcoholic they back down pretty quick lol.
P.S. I am 39 now. I plan to stay this age forever.
