My Prayer

smilesmileOne of the things my sponsor taught me was a very important concept of prayer. He said to me the hallmark of every good recovery is gratitude. As I learnt to pray, my prayer turned from one of petition to total gratitude to God. I now find more of my prayer is for others than myself. I get such tremendous fulfilment from this type of prayer. I found that love transformed into prayer, removes and keeps my defects of character away. Prayer is both a science & an art. If we master it through practice then our emotions will not be able to rule us.

You wrote "I found that love transformed into prayer, removes and keeps my defects of character away. Prayer is both a science & an art.
