Thanks Toni and Mike.......I've hit the double nickel, 55 of your earth years.......just been to a meeting and got the best birthday present ever, my buddy who emigrated to Australia 15 months ago walked through the door and gave the main share, experience, strength and hope and there were 2 people from the rehab there, Tom, 55, looks 70, ex Sargeant major in the Artillery, been retired just 6 months and Amelia, bless her, got a 2 year old and a husband dying of a brian tumour, both of them first timers,both of them filled with hope. That's the best gift I could've had, just being there to witness it.

Thanks Danielle. I've just booked up for several conventions - Birmingham, Cannock Chase (Camping), Dumbarton and Aberdeen - maybe we might bump into each other? Also there's the Sheffield one day convention on the 11th June - If you and Carl fancy it, there's a spare bedroom at my house you're welcome to use.

ta jerry. It's the day after and now my 4th belly button birthday sober on the bounce. Celebrated with cake at a meeting. Had lots of good wishes from people in the fellowship both here on Facebook and by cards as well as some family. Absolutely nothing by post though! Here's to the next one.
