Today ,as I continue to strengthen my relationship with my Higher Power ,whom I choose to call God, I will remember my real victory comes form facing trials and not allowing them to destroy me, but being confident in the goodness and plan of my God.I will not let situations or dilemmas bring me down but accept them as building blocks on my journey of faith .As Our predecessors shared with us saying" beside a seeming inability to accept much on faith,we often found ourselves handicapped by obstinacy, sensitiveness and unreasoning prejudice. They told us that alcohol, the great persuader, had finally beat us into a state ofreasonableness. We are told that our process sometimes can be very tedious.Stopping!! taking a look at whats going on, and reverting back to my faith beliefs,I can find growth and continue this journey, exciting at times ,may not seem like the right word, but coming from where I did any journey of "life" free from active addiction is truly God's blessing. If you are new here ,or just coming around, join us,let faith through the process of applying spiritual principles in your life, being of maximum service to the Higher Power of your understanding, and emotional acceptance of utter defeat and surrender , a willingness to do some work move you forward, being a guideline Just For Today, in living a life better than any you have known before..Have a blessed and productive day!!

Thank you Mike...I needed to hear that..."I will remember my real victory comes from facing trials and not allowing them to destroy me, but being confident in the goodness and plan of my God". I LOVE IT!! I want to live it.
I like what Mike said--"I will not let situations or dilemmas bring me down but accept them as building blocks on my journey of faith." Clearly a block can be an obstacle to trip over, or a step to raise oneself up on. I pray for the uplift rather than the downfall!
