The longer I am sober the more crucial the meetings become. The relapse begins with complacency & self satifaction. One slip is all it needs for the entire structure to collapse. The speaker's story tonight spoke of just that. What's frightening is that the family are just as sick. They were willing to go down to the bitter end, just to show the sick alcoholic a point.

Maintenance of my spiritual condition is critical at all times. PRIORITY NO.1 or else.............

Thanks Gonee, well said. If I stop going to meetings, sooner or later, I stop staying sober. If I stop staying sober...well, you get the picture.
