God Calling - Too much talk

"Union with Me is the one great overwhelming necessity.  All else follows so naturally, and union with Me may be the result of just consciousness of My presence.  Be not too ready to speak to others.

Pray always that the need may be apparent, if you are to do this, and the guidance very plain.  My spirit has been driven out by the words of men.

Discourage too much talk.

Man will see Me in My works done through you."

Glad I've been reading intently the book "When Man Listens"  by Cecil Rose.  I was given it in a meeting and it, as far as I am aware is neither AA or Al-Anon approved literature however it is program basis and written before Bill and Bob assembled the group.  It is from the early Oxford movement and contains much of our/my understanding of how recovery works and  how my own came about and continues.

Have you or anyone else been exposed to it?   smile
