Personal time of meditation

As I spend time today reflecting on my personal faith beliefs I know we all can tune into the idea that no matter how misguided our thinking may lead us down the path of worry and fear ,we can trust that no situation is bigger than our ultimate Higher Power and that that Powers love is glorified by experiencing peace we can feel in times of trials and pain. I am so grateful to be able to "feel" emotions of joy or pain something that I tried to block  out for so long.Thank you to our New WAY OF LIFE, a day at a time, applying our God guided spiritual principles and another opportunity to carry the message of hope and love..Truly have a blessed and productive day, something that at one time  may have seemed so distant and today, with God's grace  it is reality!  smile

Thanks Mike, for sharing this. Since I awoke this am I have been thinking, I need to do my 3rd step prayer. I need to do it today, with another person. I am ready. Today. I have someone who I have been calling my sponsor, but she hasn't really been my sponsor, if you know what I mean. So now what? Your share has given me the courage to go to a noon meeting, hold out my hand to another woman, and ask her to help me. To guide me and help me so that I can find the glow that flows through your shares. The glow that you have so obviously found with the help of your HP. Thank you and Peace.

Thanks...Mike.
Our spiritual principles, that help promote peace and contentment through the grace of God are time-tested and true, my friend, and have helped us recover from the "isms" of life, far beyond the scope of AA. These far reaching and contrasting set of spiritual values have remained a vital part of my recovery throughout the last 9+ years of sobriety and I have Almighty God and this fellowship to thank for that. Thanks...mike, for reminding me that God is still in charge and there's hope for us all -one day at a time.

                                ~God bless~

"It's a God thing...only a God thing",  I was told in the early days.  True enough years later it is still only a God thing.   My meditation time is 24/7 and the focus is "God is".  Nothing more or less.  smile
