I got to see the President speak at a fundraising rally last night! It was amazing, my seat was about 60 feet from the podium. Check it out!
I had to wait in line for 20 minutes at the bar to buy a bottle of water, after two drunk old ladies cut in front of me -- they knew what they were doing, they were talking about it, after I told them the end of the line was "back there." It would be a resentment if I knew they weren't going to die soon. ;)
Anyway, walking to the subway station afterward, I just thought of all the amazing bands I had seen play, weddings I had attended, trips I had taken, and other inspiring events I had been to that I don't really have much of a memory of, because I was too drunk. I was so thankful to be sober and to know that I was going to remember all of the details.
I no longer feel like my life is just washing over me while the high points are lost in a fog. This will be a positive memory for years to come. I'm so grateful!
How exciting for you !!! Memory of important events . The fact that one can now remember how much fun they had. What a blessing. Thanks for sharing this today. Great seats!!! Peace

I hated those foggy pastures too. I'm glad my mental faculties have returned -thank God. We wish you many more memorable moments...one day at a time.
~God bless~
