The alcoholic at certain times has no effective mental defense against the first drink. Except in a few cases, neither he nor any other human being can provide such a defense. His defense must come from a Higher Power.

Hey Wagon! Thanks for the FANTASTIC link! I even emailed it to my work computor. I can't get over having online access to the Big Book.

I need that Higher Power almost daily as yet. Seems that it will take more than a few weeks to beat the cravings.
