Such a great trip to my soul city, and long-overdue renewed bonding with my sister. Very grateful for all the blessings we were given on our trip, especially hooking up with people decades sober & straight, from back in the day!
NH feels like a dead zone in comparison to NY, so I am needing to work on not comparing!!
Also needing to seriously recharge my batteries to keep working without any guarentee at all whether our union contract will hold up to allow me to retire in a couple of years--I'm vested in 2 years but the legislators are aggressively wanting to move the finish line mid-race.

Seeing others who"made it through the storm" is so enlightening..Im sure ,as for me,there were many more that didnt make it..God will take care of your retirement situation,we are so blessed huh! that we are even in a position for retirement when our "retirement" could have been back in early 80"s!!!Remember how excited I was when I reach Social Security age!!Man the things that float our boats huh!! peace my friend and stick with God!!!!

Do that my self Lee, I moved here from San Francisco, also a very cosmopolitan city, and when after living here in San Diego for 3 and a half years, said NOPE, moving home to the Bay Area, well the world watched the burst of the Real Estate bubble, so I said to my bruised ego, NOPE you will be staying put.
As it turns out with my medical stuff that hopefully will be ok, but it is Critical....glad now I had to honker down, cause my beloved son, the Doc is right here too, that was my main reason for moving, last living relative...
So didnt mean to bla bla bla about me, just happy you had such a wonderful wonderful time. also can I ad a very very Happy Belated Birthday...sobriery, sometimes to me I have to pinch myself and say are you sure you are in the here and now, think a lot of very low, low low bottom Drunks feel that way...dont know about you, but it sure was me.
The Sun is out, first time the AC is running in this little city by the Pacific Ocean.
OMG----AC??? Heat is still running here and the snow piles are not gone; they did call "ice out" today for the big lake, tho. That means the Mt. Washington (a nice old cruise boat) can make it from point A to point B through water free of ice.
