Went to "Living Now" on St. Mark's Place (old stomping grounds-East Village). This meeting has been running continuously for 40-some odd years, I think. My sister presented me with my 28th medallion (they don't normally do chips, so the crowd enjoyed the surprize as much as I did) She got sober there 30 years ago, and so she was surrounded by old friends who hadn't seen her in years. It was awesome--old timer alkies & junkies with 30+ all around me, and dozens of (fairly healthy looking!) young women + guys with 6 days, 19 days, 62 days, etc. etc. A fantastic mix and testiment to the power of the program. Definately refilled my tank on a spiritual level!

Truly a blessing for you Lee and for all of us ,those of us who been around for few cups of coffee and especially those coming in to make the pot!!Keep that feeling of "a fit spiritual condition" the real tonic of our lives!!!
