Have not been on much due to College Classes and Health Issues.
Well the health has taken another turn--I am now doing physical therapy for water on my right knee, plus now have to use a Cane.
I do not recall in any earlier post if I had said anything about being a Type 2 Diabetic since Feb 4 which was brought on by having that Celluitis last September--or not knowing about the Type 2 brought on the Celluitis.
Lots of Doctor and Blood Test bills not to mention the X-Rays and Meds--biggest problem is most of the money from college is just about gone and I am still unemployed yet.
May have to see about Disability--likely for some bills the Hospital has a Financial Aid for people like me.
May have to lean on my HP a bit more heavily to get through this. Also though folks will be back from Florida soon and they may help--in some ways they have/had been kind of distant about my recovery. They hid it from various family and friends but most found out anyhow (that is a whole different story altogether) but they seem to be coming around now since I have had my Driver's License back for 2 years now.
9 years is nothing short of miracle, especially knowing how some of us drank. I hope your health concerns improve over time. Leaning on our higher powers is crucial, like you said, especially during times like these. I am sober today by God's grace and this fellowship -in that order. I continue to draw closer to anyone or anthing that draws me closer to God. We will keep you in our prayers as you continue this sober journey to wherever your higher power leads you -one day at a time .
