It ain't rushing and pushing me and it ain't idling along and having me waste time.
Life just seems to be going at the proper pace - erm, I think that means that maybe I'm fitting myself to today's circumstances?
It's been a beautiful day even though i spent the bulk of it in the office and I'm still here.
there's been a stiffish breeze, just enough to move the clouds smartly along and to stir up the debris on the streets. then i went out to Grimsby, wind got stronger and stronger until it was drying the topsoil in the fields and blowing it across the land. Bit of a good old fen blow!
top of the lift shaft at Grimsby and the wind speed is a steady 30 mph, gusting to 60. First time in a long time I took up the offer of a full harness and lifeline. Humber estuary - you could've surfed on it.
back home and the neighbours corrugated roofing sheets have stacked themselves very neatly behind my shed, the wind smells great, sweet, another benefit of not smoking, my sense of smell and taste have sharpened.
weight watchers - no gain no loss so I'm happy with that and my WW buddy says I don't smell like an old ashtray no more.
It's 10 to 10 and I really would like a smoke but I remind myself that I don't smoke any more and I now have to go put another quid in the tin, make a stroing coffee and go outside for a deep breathe! Then i'll come back and write another job pack while I wait for another buddy to text me for a lift from the local airport or tell me they're sorted out.
Life is really good. OK this too shall pass but sod it, let's enjoy the moments shall we?

Nice Bill! Looks like your thoughts are where your feet are at. Good stuff. I find I have much more serenity and peace if I stop trying to force or control life and let it unravel naturally. Not looking back or forward but staying within the glow of the headlights.
