My Grandpappy used to say "Sometimes, it takes a bigger man, just to walk away from some people, and things,-- that can send us into oblivion, and reactive insanity."

Easy to say-sometimes difficult to do.

There are still things today, that Ide like to react to.

Still situations, that Ide like to change(Ide make them worse)"Out of my hands and control"

And some people, also. One punch, when noones looking would do it.

But--then we get back to the program, and new ways of thinking, acting, and reacting.

I agree with you about venting. I beleive its a must--or the teakettle will blow its lid, eventually.

If I dont get and keep the shit out--it festers. Doesnt matter, how small it is. Its like a decaying tooth.

Ive always found this board, a great place to do it.

Easy does it, my freind. Some stuff isnt worth reacting to--and yu likely couldnt change it anyway.

God grant me the serenity to accept the people and things and situations I cannot change.

Grant me the serenity to accept those people things and situations just as they are, and help me to change my thinking in a positive manner towards the same.

Let Go and Let God. Detatch. Let it all go.

If yu cant? Wait till after dark.(smile)

I can relate to Chris' anger.

The mass exportation of manufacturing jobs is also in full speed here in the US.  I would suspect that Canada has seen a lot of the same.  It started with lots of major corporations building factories just across the border in Tijuana and Warez, because they could fatten up their bottom line by dumping higher wage earners here, and exploiting the Mexican laborer.  Now, a great amount jobs are going to India and China, for the same reason.  The average factory worker in China earns the equivalent of 4 US dollars a day!  The third world is struggling in poverty for starvation wages, and fat cat CEO's here are lovin it!

On the other hand, I didn't drink today.

I offer a heartfelt prayer, for you Chris, that the nasties don't get your serenity, and that you have a successful interview.  If you get the job, you can tell your old boss that if he needs your business someday, that you will do your best to see that he gets the cheapest, imported piece of crap for a box that you can find for him...  lol

Chris, I'm praying for you also. I hope you find the job that is best for you. Being angry when this kind of stuff happens, it's a normal reaction, but you have to act not react.

We have to live life in life terms and let God do what we can't do.I can't change other people, places or things.Soooo, I will accept what I must and move on. You will be okay, don't let this get you crazy, don't drink over it, and most of all know that we care.

You ask me about Nic, I have heard from her, same story, she is a very busy newspaper lady...busy is a 4 letter word to me.I've been there lately also. I miss Nic, but I understand the problem she has.

(((Hugs)))
