"We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us."
BB pp 84

Call it what you will - trusting your heart, listening to your inner voice, going with your gut, relying on your intuition... any of these things. How do you feel about trusting your heart, or relying on your intuition now that you are clean? Is this part of the Promises coming true for you? Do you believe it can?

"For so long, you relied on your head. Now it's time to make the shift - the great leap into your heart.
Are you beginning to see how your head gets in the way? How it creates so much noise? The chatter, the limited vision, the fear? Are you beginning to see how what you've relied on - your intellect, your assessments, and sometimes your logic - has complicated your life?
It isn't the head that sees clearly, nor does the head always see with love. Often, it sees with eyes of fear. The heart sees clearly. It balances the mind and emotions. It takes what's real and processes it into truth, the into action. It takes into account all that needs to be done, the draws a map, and itinerary, for how to accomplish that. Yes, you say, but my head does that too. And then I don't need to feel...
Your heart can do it better because it maps the way in love.
Learn to listen to your inner voice.
Listen to your heart.
It's your connection to God, to people, to the universe, and to yourself."

Journey to the Heart -- Melody Beattie

Thanks Doll, I shared this very passage at a meeting Tuesday night, I think it is so true. If I pray , my Higher Power always shows me what to do, it may not be what I wanted but it's the right answer.

Have a great sober day.

Well-Ile be dithered. Hit the nail, on the head, with the hammer, again.

Yupper-- Eh?  Thats what its all about.

Getting rid of the clutter and going with ones heart.

Walking through the fear--and putting oneself out there. Right from the heart,-- with risk, faith, and trust.

And quit stepping in front of turnip trucks.

Oh yaaa-almost forgot. Garbage days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. Dump it. (Smile)

Someone up there, knows where we are going. Dont question it. Dont analyze it. Dont fight it. Just go for the ride. Sometimes yu gotta hang on pretty tight.

The only ride that I dont like, is the merry- go- round. Little voice from up above says "Get off the merry -go- round stupid!! All youre doing, is getting dizzy, and going in circles!! Try another ride!!"

Well-Lord Tunderin Jee sus Boy!!(Thats Canadian for "Hoky Doky" ) Never thought of that one.

Have a nice day!!

My head, my heart and my gut are all tellling me different things...stop...can't get the voices to be quiet!!

What's that? IS that you, God? You're outside of it all...Left to my own devices I'm still trying to run the show? ohhh...I have to let it ALL go...everything? But what about...ALL OF IT??

OK...I surrender.

When we sincerely took such a position, all sorts of remarkable things followed. We had a new Employer. Being all powerful, He provided what we needed, if we kept close to Him and perforemed His work well. Established on such a footing we became less and less interested in ourselves, our little plans and designs. More and more we became interested in seeing what we could contribute to life. As we felt new power flow in, as we enjoyed peace of mind, as we discovered we could face life successfully, as we became conscious of His presence, we began to lose our fear of today, tommorrow or the hereafter. We were reborn.        pp63 Big Book

Love to you all,

Cheri

Hey Phil...

Remind me to tell you about my revenge tactic...I did a bad bad thing...but it's kind of funny, too.

That rope you told me about? I was afraid of it being a bungee cord, but it's not. I'm getting ready to jump!!

Wish me luck!

Love you, cheri
