Hey Lisa, welcome to MIP. I lived in pisgah forest for a while. beautiful place, just rains too much for me..AA is alive and strong down yonder. AA central office is in ashville  http://www.ashevilleaa.org/  this is home page

 you could call or email Central office and I'm sure they will put you in contact someone, so you can already know them before you get there..  good luck.. hope you stat here no matter where you wind up..
