My lil B2200 Mazda has a new clutch and is feeling slick. Took it for a ride...no jerks, grabs, screeches and thumps. I did it myself cause I like the grease and the tools and the muscle pain and strains and man the cussing whenn it just won't go my way my time raises my testosterone levels. I had to calm down a bit cause I could just envision that lil cab+ jumping right off it's jack stands and giving me something to really yell at and clear the neighborhood. Saved some big bucks and accumulated some self affirmations. Got most of the tools back in their places ceptin the ones I gotta wipe down so the shine comes out and put back in their rightful places with the lid down and locked...not poppin up. After the truck was tested and the place halfway cleaned up (I've never done finger printing this good before) I did my hands and arms best I could and went in for dinner with my spouse.
Doesn't this sound soooo normal? Guess I'm getting there cause twix garage and kitchen there was no spare refer with beer in it and a bottle of SC in case I thought a boiler maker was a better reward. Nope I'm clear headed even with a bit of a bump on the forehead earned from turning to close to fast and kissing the bellhousing. My mini is ready for the next job...whenever that comes along and I am also.

Man ,ain't it the truth,the feeling of accomplishment,something we worked on and it works!!!! And yes you are correct my friend,the reward is the peace we feel from our Higher Power ,knowing we did this in a lucid ,aware state of mind and knowing we have just reenforced our journey with "a job well done'!! Makes me feel like fixin sumtin!!!!!!! :) :)

Hi Jerry, Nice ride as you spoke it and felt it. Right down to the knot on the head from the bell housing ( from turning to fast) Use the tools, keep em' clean , put them back so when you need them again you know where they are. Feel good.
