LOL...I shoulda, coulda gone fishing but decided to go thru some (not all) of the pain
without anesthesia.  Wife is happy...I'm liking some of the commercials.  smile

Wow, not a very memorable one. Christina A. did an awful job on singing the Nat. Anthem, the half time musical program was worse. The game was average. I missed half of the commercials but was impressed by a few. The VW "Black Betty" was pretty cool.

One good thing about reaching 1 year sober is that you know there is absolutely no day of the year, no holiday, no anniversary that has the power to literally make you drink. Of course you should know that already...but hey.... Good Job!

You're right pinkchip -- you've mentioned that to me before and I was thinking about that when I posted this, actually. Just gotta make it through Valentines day (one day at a time of course).

I caught the first half and then went to a meeting.  The event has little meaning to me now a days.  I've learned that anything other than AA & God isn't going to keep me sober.  Including the Super Bowl.  smile

It was my Sponsors 25 Anniversary and he chaired like he does every Super Bowl Sunday.  Always good to hear his message.

A superbowl "to remember" (cause you could remember it,lucid and not twisted,a blessing regardless of the actual game!!!smile
