Many of us Real alcoholics pursue this into the gates of Insanity or Death. We learned that we had to (fully concede) to our innermost selves that were alcoholics. This is the first step in recovery = Concede = Admit Complete Defeat! The Delusion! that we are like other people Or! so called - Normal people! = Has to be SMASHED! If they have finished reconstructing your stomach and have it closed up you can now get your willingness and your prayer for help down to that location. Your subconscious lives there and it will take your desire for freedom from fear and everything else and hold it securely. Try holding it in your head alone and it will have to compete with all of the insanity and other stuff roaming around up there. From my experience. Hope the surgery is completely successful and now don't drink cause the stomach/color is one of the places that alcohol will devour; course it also loves brain, lungs, liver, bladder, pancreas, kidneys, nervous system and more. You won't find that on the label of your favorite beer or hard stuff. They want you to continue bellying up to the bar if that is where you like to do your drinking or anywhere else you go to get it. Not as much belly left I imagine so save what's left...Trust God and sponsor and keep working this spiritual program of recovery cause it works when you work it.
It is when I see people conquering true adversity and still staying sober that I realize I can do it too. Thanks for sharing and being an example to us. Healing prayers coming your way.

Now is it the look from another in form of a five or is it the look in the form of upon awakening? Cause mine when like this . God has been good to me I feel closer to him today then yesterday ! The honor and priveledge in serving Him has been increased by the results . Simple self sacrifice unselfish constructive action. To see a fellowship grow about you . ! To have a host of friends . The intensive work rewarding beyond anything I could have planned . So today I am gonna serve him again .
