Morning! By God's grace ,another day to carry our message of hope to someone near you. This is not a magic formula but a gift that is offered to any of us who are willing to accept it! When you receive it, you will wonder how you lived wothout it. Believe me,life will continue to rain down full bore,we will all have our trials and struggles but they won't have power to turn us into something we don't want to be. This hope will not only change us ,but those around us!!Today,I am grateful ,for another day, seeking the will of my Higher Power and living in hope ,that in years gone by, I thought I would never see. Spread the sunlight today, let someone see the hope by your actions and the way you are living,.Remember ,we also carry our message in silence and at times words aren't necessary.Have a blessed and productive day!!

Mike thanks for reminding me that this works that no mater where we are location or where we are in this process. I too apon awakening asked him to divorce my thinking from self pity , dishonest and self seeking motives. With his grace and mercy I go and serve him. My comfort on a material level is less. Today.but that million I made in recovery never had the power to produce what I have today. Living in the spirit I have found purpose and usefulness beyond what I could have dreamed . Sitting in a borrowed car waiting to go in and help at a meeting . That I don't go to on a regular. Self sacrifice unselfish constructive action.I will be able to treat my disease. And show hope to those that are desperate as I was. Thank god for a 12 step program and for my LG ally lol smart phones rock!
"...we also carry our message in silence and at times words aren't necessary..."
I am infused with new hope-a new Self every day-as long as my conscious contact with the God of my understanding is the foundation of my continual spiritual awakening. Then, and only then, I am able to share that hope--even wordlessly-with another addict. And on the receiving end, it has always been the carrying of the message with large amounts of well-timed silence that has gotten though to me when words alone could never have done the job.
