it's 1.30 in the morning in the uk and I've jusr watched this film. Not sure what to make of it. Least it had a happy ending, pretty harrowing in places.

Watched that in rehab back in March. Tough movie, especially the impact on the kids.

I couldnt watch that movie when it first came out. Hit to close to home. Now I see it as it. Recovery gives people a second chance. Great movie!!!

Parts of it were okay, but in typical Hollywood style they seemed to "glamorize" certain parts. If only everything in life ended like most of these types of movies...life would be peachy.

That's not a midlife crisis, you can never have too many guitars, motorcycles, pieces of stereo equipment, LPs, CDs, tools...  biggrin

That is funny that you bring this subject up! I am in a bit of trouble for buying my two boys mini bikes for Christmas and I just ordered a Epiphone EJ 160 e guitar tonight! My wife says I need to get rid of two guitars for this one, so I guess the Yamaha acoustic and the Jay Turser Acoustic/Electric have to go. That still leaves me with 4 electrics (3 Teles and a Rickenbacker knockoff)  If the boys had their way, they would move the bikes in their room.

It's been suggested that I acquire boys toys alcoholically. Probably true.

This is the new addition:
http://www.samash.com/p/Epiphone_EJ160E%20John%20Lennon%20Advanced%20Jumbo%20Acoustic%20Electric%20Guitar%20Vintage%20Cherry_-49967575

I was not going to buy it because my wife said I needed to get rid of two first, However, I noticed they had a law away program.  I called to see if they could apply a competetors coupon and they said they could.  I still was not going to buy it, but then the salesman mentioned that it was not in stock, and it would take until mid January for delivery.  Hmmmm, does that mean I can buy it now on sale, get free shipping and no taxes, AND get $50 off, AND give my self a month to sell the other two?  Oh, I can also break up the payments over 4 payments which would not raise any alarm flags if the selling goes a bit slow? Hmmmmmmmm........I'LL TAKE IT!!!
