ps. The really cruddy thing is that the state of Wyoming has had a SURPLUS of cash for the last 5 years due to mineral and natural gas royalties. Millions of dollars sitting around just collecting dust, and people are taking out loans to fill their gas tanks. What a crock!!!
£.98 per litre here, no idea what that is in US Gallons and Dollars! But it's TOOOO MUCH!

I just heard on TV that something is going on with these guys at the pumps. One man got a new shipment yesterday, he did not go up at the pump. He is still at $2.82 unleaded. They are getting some authorities to look into it. They think we are being gouged! I hope this is the case.
I see on the news that these speculates guess what price gas is going to be. I don't understand. Did Enron people go to prison and get sued for speculating prices? I am just a dumb country girl so I really don't understand. If someone Say's I believe gas is going up to $75.00 a barrel won't it go up to that? THAT IS A NO LOOSE JOB. Being a speculator.

Well-guys-I think Ile move to the U.S.--up to 5.62 in Ontario Canada as of 7pm. and still rising. And yes-its nothing more than a gouge. Look at the amount of tax the governments get. They might show their concern, but they are raking it in. Gotta do what we gotta do hu? Accept the things we cannot change and truck on.
Phil, It is an old old story. The rich get richer. Well maybe it's The rich get broke, the broke get poor, the poor die! As you say we can't do anything about it. All those that could do something are to busy getting richer and richer. They are not feeling it at the pump, store, jobs,or giving something up for the gas pumps. If they raised the price like this on alcohol it would cut down on the drinking. Prices on cigs made me cut way down!

Just thought i'd let you all know, gas in NH was $3.09 @ 8:30 am and $3.29 @ 9:30 am.
Here in Conroe,Texas near Huston gas was $2.99 yesterday unleaded. This morning it was $2.89. Ya got me!!

$3.20 here in SC. Was 2.60, then 4 hrs later 2.80, now 3.20. in some places, 3.49, 3.59 in others......... we had folks fussing and fighting over getting gas, and them fools were filling up everything they could get their greedy little hands on.......... I'm praying for those folks, my neighbors! Geeze. What has this world come to.
