As I opened my eyes this morning.and thanks God that one never get tired .lol I hope you are pleased that I will be bragging on you all day again But first before I get started can you direct my thinking please divorce it from self pity < the fact that I am out of work only gives me more time to serve you and not me.Dihonesty< that I am not you and can't fix me .just do what the doctors tell me to do. Self seekin < God please make me a little more like you and less like me. ]od please don't like me say any thing to my sponsees that will get them killed .God I am selfish self centered. I have fears and I have resentments. Please relieve me of the bondage of self .and I am asking that you remove all my defects. Ego pride blame my questionable sex conduct. That I may do your will . And serve my fellow drunks who help me see you during the day. Your grace and mercy.God I don't want to be that guy today help me . so I can go tell every one I see today that you changed me and all I had to do was know that I need you to run my life and fix my thinking. And as I grow closer to you .that now after all the growing pains . I walk this earth a free man . No longer ran by my feelings or my thinking.that the application of ten eleven .so I can give this all away . Thank you thank you thank you. ]od help me to be tolerant patient kind and loving to everyone I see today. Them kids who will be pulling me in ten different directions . Help me to serve them with a happy heart .and I pray that their mother will know piece and if I do talk to her let your spirit shine thru not mine.cause you know I can't yet I an still sriritually sick save me from being angry and forgive me for being judgemental . My sponsees will be tripping Lord help me to give them every thing that you give me. Intensive work with other drunk more than just don't drink go to meetings and pray. Trust God clean house help others. Grant me piece as I leave hear to do your bidding AMEN
Well put my friend , thats whats up took the time and read all of it and thats what it is and will be GOD and these 12 steps i need to try to stay close and work them steps daily strive for progress not perfection thx 4 that peace.

If the title is a daily look then that would sugest that is the look for this day ! I thought that posting on this would be my twelve.? The amazing thing is when I actually work these steps ten and eleven . I get the opportunety to do work I am uniqely qualified to do. Some thing to me to go to a meeting to late to get to home group. Sent texts that I would not be there.because I was messing aroung here calling it twelve step work.bla bla bla. Anyways I go to a meeting a have not been to in like seventeen more years. I walk in and one of my new babies tells me I knew I would see you here. Something told me to go to this meeting .I told him the same story .God gives me every thing I need. I get him a fresh book he lost the last one he had coming off a fresh one.I give him the same instructions I was giving .get a red ball point pen.anywhere you see yourself maybe you tried something you felt like that you think like that underline it .now my man is like me he has to try every thing else first. He came in the first the same year as me.brand new soberiety date.again ! The coolest thing about all this is the fact that I get to give him my time and my little bit of money.the reward.I get to see grace and mercy I get to practice love tolerance patience.unselfishness. oh yeah the exact thing I need to serve my kids with a happy heart.for faith to be vital it must be accompanied by self sacrafice ,unselfish and constructive action.thank ]od for a twelve step program.
