Awsome AAA weekend.

Had a wonderful weekend with my AA family. The beauty of going on these retreats is that we know so many people. The 400 odd people that fellowshipped had such a nice time. Some I have known for the last 22 years. The Alateens have grown up and many now have children of their own. For me this is recovery at its best, to see so many families recover. The long term recoveries are a testimony to God's great work that has been done in AA. My 2 adult children had so much fun. Driving to and from the round up, I could hear my my 2 kids laughing and joking in the car. For my wife and I these precious gifts of our recovery. We thank God for such wonderful treasures that He has given to us. In His mercy and grace, He lifted up a sick alcoholic like me and gave me the finest gifts of life. These for me are the priceless moments.

For me an awesome AAA weekend is when the AAA truck shows up in less than an hour and it turns out my car can be fixed for under a hundred bucks.

Sorry, I couldn't resist!!! :)
